Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit Inaugurated their 25th year of existence on 10th June 2023. At 5pm mass was celebrated by parish priest Fr Roque Dsa. After mass the inauguration of 25 years was held at the golden jubilee hall.

The esteemed guests for the celebration were Pradeep Dsouza district officer Backward Class Welfare Dept DK Mangaluru, Noreen Pinto President Catholic Sabha Episcopal City Deanery Mangalore. Fr Roque DSa Parish priest presided over the function.

Pradeep Dsouza in his speech applauded Catholic Sabha Valencia unit for their continuous work and efforts. He also encouraged the youth to opt for higher studies and go in for government jobs and settle down in India instead of foreign countries.

Steevan Rodrigues unit member was felicitated for immense contribution for catholic sabha in the unit and as well in the diocese level.

Famous Comedians Melwyn (Mellu Valencia), Richard Sequeira (Richa Valencia), Steevan Rodrigues and Cletus Urwa entertained the crowd with their jokes. Youth of the parish performed dance and group singing was also presented by the members.

Noel Menezes, President Catholic Sabha Valencia welcomed the gathering. Nancy DSouza Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Program was compèred by Dolphy Saldanha.

Parish priest Fr Roque DSa, Asst PP Fr Vijay Monteiro ,Fr William Baraccas, Ronald Rodrigues Parish Council Vice President and Episcopal City Varado President Noreen Pinto, Valencia Unit President Noel Menezes and secretary Nancy Dsouza and around 150 people were present for the celebrations.

The programme ended with dinner arranged by Patrao Caterers Valencia.
