“To build a successful career, a child should be guided, Perfect guidance helps the children bring laurels in their life”.

Career Guidance programme is a path where it helps the child to choose a right direction in their life. Keeping this aspect Catholic Sabha Valencia organised a Career Guidance Programme for the children of class 8th,9th,10th,11th and 12th along with their parents on 23rd July 2023 at 9.15am at the church Conference Hall.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp which was lit by the guest.

The mentor and speaker for the programme was Dr Ananth Prabhu Gurpur, professor in the department of computer science and engineering at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management.

The speaker beautifully explained how to decide on what you want to be in your life. He also stressed on the top 10 fields where the students can explore presently and where the students will have vast scope in the near future. He also gave some learning tips to the children to implement in their daily studies. He briefed on the competitive exams during the session.

Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha Valencia Fr Roque DSa, Catholic Sabha Valencia President Noel Menezes, Secretary Nancy Dsouza, Episcopal City Deanery Catholic Sabha President Steevan Rodrigues, Parish Council Vice-President Ronald Rodrigues, Secretary Rita Menezes, MCC Bank Ltd chairman Anil Lobo and members of Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit were present during the programme.

Around 200 children along with their parents attended the session.
