Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) was inaugurated in St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia on Sunday 27th September 2015.  The programme began with the Eucharistic celebration at 4.00 P.M. Rev Fr Ronald D’Souza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese was the main celebrant. Rev Fr James D’souza, Parish Priest, Rev Fr Clifford Pinto Asst. Parish Priest con-celebrated the Mass.  During the Mass, the Parish Priest conducted oath taking ceremony to the newly elected ICYM Office bearers. 

At 5.30 P.M. there was a get together in the Conference Hall.  Rev Fr Ronald D’Souza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Rev Fr James D’souza Parish Priest, Rev Fr Clifford Pinto, Asst. Parish Priest, Mr Arun Raj Rodrigues Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Leslie D ‘Souza Secretary, Mr Anil Lobo co-ordinator of youth welfare committee, Mr Alwyn D’Souza, President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Mr Nelson Monis Former President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Mr Nelson Monteiro President of ICYM Valencia and Ashton Pinto, secretoery were present on the dias.

Mr Nelson Monteiro, welcome the gathering.  Mr Nelson Monis gave a talk on “how youth can participate in ICYM and their responsibilities as a member of ICYM.” Miss Sweeny D’Souza conducted spot games and entertainment programme. Parish priest Rev. Fr James D’Souza distributed prizes to the winners. Mr Ashton Pinto delivered the vote of thanks. Miss  vencilla Tauro convened the program.  Entire program was concluded with the dinner.
