The feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour was celebrated at Valencia church on Saturday 29 June 2019 during 5.00pm mass.

After the introduction, the annual pastoral plan for the year 2019-2020 was inaugurated.

Fr Arun Lobo in his homily beautifully preached about Laudato Si. Recalling the days while he was going to school how the environment was and how the environment is right now. Considering the present environmental situation he called upon the people to save nature and make it a better place to live in. He also mentioned about the village life and the life of the people in the city. Further in his sermon he called upon the youth to walk in the foot steps of Christ and march towards the path of victory and to actively participate in the church activities as the year 2019 - 2020 is declared as the year of youth by the Bishop of Mangalore.

Parish priest Fr James D’Souza was the main celebrant. Asst PP Fr Praveen Dsouza and Fr Arun Lobo were the con-elebrants.The youth beautifully handled the choir and liturgy which was well managed by Nithyadhar Ward members. After the mass Jackfruit patholi was distributed to everyone.
