YOU CAT training programme was held at St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia for the youth of the parish on Sunday 14th July 2019 at 9.30am in Ferrer Hall.

The programme began with a prayer led by Icym members.Icym unit president Miss Jovita Dsouza welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person.
Parish priest Fr James D’Souza delivered the presidential speech and encouraged the youth to come forward and actively participate in activities which are conducted in the parish as the year is being dedicated to the youth.

The resource person for the training was Rev Fr Alwyn D’Souza Asst Director of St Joseph Engineering College Vamanjoor.During the training he beautifully explained the concept behind YOU CAT and the contents of the YOU CAT book.Few questions also were answered by Fr Alwyn which were raised by the youth.

Venessa Lee from Icym proposed the vote of thanks, breakfast was served to all the youth present.

Asst PP Fr Joswin D’Souza,Parish Council Vice President Mr Anil Lobo,Secretary Lizzie Pinto,YCS animator Mr Leslie D’Souza and Mrs Jasmine Vas were present.Around 60 youth participated in the training.
