Senior Citizens' Day was celebrated at St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia, on Saturday 23rd September 2023. Liturgy was conducted by Senior Citizens for 5PM Mass and thereafter a get-together was organized at Ferrer hall.

Julian D'Souza, President of the Senior Citizens Association welcomed the gathering.

Dr Judy Pinto former vice-principal of St Aloysius Degree college Mangalore was the resource person who spoke about the problems faced by the senior citizens in the present society and gave a few valuable pieces of advice. Parish priest Fr Roque DSa and Ronald Rodrigues, Vice President of Pastoral Council also addressed the gathering.

Senior Citizens enthralled the gathering with Songs, and also Mono acting by Retired Professor Francis Crasta.

Asst Parish Priest Fr Vijay Monteiro, Fr William Baroccas, Secretary of Pastoral Council Rita Menezes, Coordinator for the various Pastoral commissions Steevan Rodrigues were present.

John Menezes proposed the vote of Thanks, Leena Fernandes compered the program. Around 110 senior Citizens were present and the program concluded with dinner.
