On account of Children’s day ICYM Valencia unit organised different competitions for the children of 1st std to 10th std on 11th November, 2018 at 4pm in the church hall.

Categories of the competition : 

1st to 4th std - Traditional fashion

5th to 7th std - Fashion out of waste

8th to 10th std - Cooking without fire

Around 70 children actively participated in the competition.

Parish priest Fr James D’Souza and Asst Parish Priest Fr Joswin D’Souza, Parish pastoral council secretary Mrs Lizzie pinto welcomed the judges with a flower bouquet.

The Judges for the fashion show were Samantha D’Souza Bendore and Dr Smitha Rasquinha Bendore. Judges for Cooking without fire were Rolain Lobo Bajal and Dr Dipthi Castelino Shriva .

Judges announced the winner of the competitions. Unit secretary Sonali Fernandes handed over the mementos to the judges.

Immediate-past secretary Jovita Rebello professionally compered the fashion show and Immediate-past president Gordon D’Almeida managed cooking without fire competition.
