Nativity of Mother Mary very popularly known as ‘Monthi Fest’ was celebrated at St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia on the 8th September 2019.

At 7.10 AM procession began from Valencia circle and at 7.15 AM from GoriGudda Junction. At 7.30 AM the new corn was blessed by Parish Priest Fr James D’Souza followed by Eucharistic celebration.

Fr Joswin Preached the homily. In his homily he preached about the 5 families Mary visited and lived with
1) Holy Family at Nazareth 2) Elizabeth’s family at Judea 3) Cana Wdding Family 4) The Evangelist family and 5) Pentacost family

Fr Arun Lobo, Fr William Barracas, Fr Charles Lasrado Rome, Fr Alphonse Fernandes SJ Superior of Asha Kiran, Fr Kevin Sequeira SJ Asst Superior of Asha Kiran and Fr Roshan Pereira SJ Director St Joseph’s College Hassan concelebrated the mass along with the main Celebrant Rev Fr James D’Souza.

After the mass breakfast was served to all.
