1. Next Sunday we celebrate Mission Sunday. We request the ward Gurkars to collect the Mission Sunday Calendars and envelopes and distribute them to the families. Kindly be generous towards the Mission of Christ.
2. Next Saturday on 17th October Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’souza, Bishop of Mangalore will give Sacrament of confirmation to the I PUC students. As a preparation for confirmation there will be a seminar for the parents of the candidates on 14th October, Wednesday at 6.00 P.M. It is compulsory for the parents.
3. Elocution Competition organized by the Catholic Sabah is post phone to Sunday, 18th October.
4. On 15th October, Thursday at 5.00 P.M. Feast and 500th birth anniversary of St Teresa of Avila will be celebrated at Cloistered Carmel, Kankanady.
5. Jesus Youth organizes ‘Spandan 2015’ for all Catholic Youth from 22nd October to 25th October at St Paul School. Belgaum.
6. On 22nd October, Wednesday St Jude Church Pakshikere celebrates their annual feast.
7. There is Fudar Prathistan Puraskar in the month of Feb. 2016. Those who have secured highest marks in SSLC, PUC, degree and Post graduation are eligible. Only 2 will be honored at the Varado level and 3 at the Diocesan level. So we request those who have secured highest marks in SSLC, PUC, Degree and post graduation to give their names and marks cards. We will evaluate and sent their names to the organizers.
8. Episcopal City deanery organizes training program for all the Ward Gurkars on 19th November, Thursday from 9.30 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. We request all the ward leaders to participate in it.
9. There are no Sunday Catechism classes and Sodality meetings from 18th October - 1st November.
10. Next Sunday at 9.15 A.M. there is a short meeting for Sunday Catechism teachers.
